License to Grow

As an active medical cannabis cardholder in New Mexico, you are allowed to grow your own plants as long as you fill out a Personal Production Application and submit it to the Department of Health. Once approved, this allows patients to have 16 plants total (4 mature, 12 seedlings).

Requirements

You must be a current medical cannabis cardholder in NM OR your application to be a cardholder has been submitted to the Dept of Health for approval.

You must own your own property or have permission from the person who does own the property you live on to grow there.

➺ Hepatitis C currently receiving treatment

➺ Intractable nausea/vomiting
➺ Multiple sclerosis (MS)
➺ Damage to the nervous tissue of the spinal cord with proof of intractable spasticity
